An overview of plans

Our learners are bound to be spread across Canada and come from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. When the following two conditions exist in our learning group:

  1. English Learner (ELL)

The biggest problem for English beginners is that it is difficult to follow the course quickly because of the language. We chose videos with subtitles to help them better solve the problem of language proficiency. They can understand the learning content by pausing the video at any time and looking up the subtitles. Even subtitles can be automatically generated in each country’s language, but for fairness and for their English to improve. We do not recommend using this feature. Specific adjustment of subtitles function: they need to open the video and click the subtitles option.

2. A person who does not have access to a computer at home but has a mobile phone with a data plan.

The biggest problem faced by people who do not have computers and have mobile phones with data flow is that when they watch videos and answer questions, they are not as convenient as those who have computers. Because the tests will have a time limit, they may have technical difficulties. We created a test form that can be logged in at any time by using Google Forms. The form can also be easily logged in using a mobile phone.
